TVS Motor Company launched the 2022 iQube electric scooter on Wednesday at a starting price of ₹98,564 (on-road, Delhi, including FAME and state subsidy). The scooter was released in three variants – TVS iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. The price of the S version has been set at ₹1,08,690 (on road, Delhi including FAME and state subsidy) while price of ST version is yet to be revealed.
Customers can reserve the iQube and iQube S from today, while the iQube ST can be pre-booked. Deliveries of the scooters will begin immediately. The iQube and iQube S electric scooters are currently available in 33 existing cities and will soon be available in 52 additional cities.
The design of the iQube 2022 model was inspired by three fundamental principles – choice, comfort and ease of use. Customers will be able to choose from three variants of the electric scooter based on range, storage, colors and connectivity features. A choice of three stand-alone charger variants will be available depending on their needs – 650W, 950W and 1.5kW.
TVS iQube range and maximum speed:
While the base and S variants of the scooter offer 100 km of range on a single charge, the top-of-the-line ST version offers 140 km of range. The range of the three variants is greater than that of the previous model which offers 75 km of range on a single charge. iQube and iQube S will reach a top speed of 78 km/h while the ST variant will reach a top speed of 82 km/h.
The basic variant of 2022 iQube TVs has a 5-inch TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation assistance and is available in three colors. It comes with the TVS Motor designed battery specification of 3.4kWh.
TVS iQube S:
The iQube S gets the same battery but has a 7-inch TFT display with an intuitive five-way joystick for interaction, music control, theme customization, proactive notifications including phone health. vehicle. It comes in four colors.
iQube ST TV:
Building on these features, the iQube ST is powered by a 5.1 kWh battery designed by TVS Motor. It hosts smart driving connectivity with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen with five-way joystick interactivity, music control, proactive notifications including vehicle health, 4G telematics and OTA updates . The scooter offers endless theme customization, voice assistance, and a TVS iQube Alexa skill set. It will come in four color choices and underseat storage for two 32-liter helmets.
The company first launched the electric scooter in the Indian market two years ago, taking a first step towards electrification. The two-wheeler maker claims that it has so far covered three crore kilometers of electric journeys on Indian roads.
